Srinagar, November 15, 2025 — A devastating late-night explosion at the Nowgam Police Station on the outskirts of Srinagar has left nine people dead and 32 injured, marking one of the deadliest accidental blasts in Jammu & Kashmir in recent years. The incident occurred while a team of police officials and forensic experts were handling a consignment of seized explosives, triggering a powerful blast that ripped through the building and caused panic in surrounding areas.
What Led to the Blast?

The group was reportedly in possession of large quantities of explosive materials, chemicals, and weapons.
